I been working as a independent contractor(salon) at Summerfield of Roseville for over a year now, I’m very happy to be able to work in a place that I can see how the staff respects and care for the well been of residence . They are always making sure all the residents are safe at all times .I’m also glad I get to see how happy and thankful residents are for all the care they receive from ALL the staff. First I want to let you know that my connection to Summerfield of Roseville in Roseville is professional as I am a Home Health Aide who works with residents inside this community. Second, I am writing this review because for the fantastic care that this community provides to its residents, is not reflected in the posted Yelp reviews in ANY way even though I see that many are numerous years old.

I have been working with residents in Summerfield of Roseville since just after the Covid pandemic began early last year. I go into many long term care building each day/week regardless of type of residents that live there whether they are independent, in assisted living with memory care and memory care buildings.

Summerfield of Roseville is incredibly proactive when it comes to Covid protocol and screening for any agencies that comes in (I too was asked to come back after my temperature had lowered because I was in my heated car). Infection control is not something they take lightly and I’m sure it is probably difficult to maintain with families wanting so badly to see their loved ones as well as keep their residents socially distant from each other. These families are blessed at how well the entire staff works with residents as if they were a part of their own family, and not just someone that they may have to keep away from others. To me is always appears that they are caring for their patients and residents with the utmost love and respect while still doing their best to keep them all healthy.

The girls in the front office ALWAYS have a smile on their face and are so easy to work with regardless of what I can only imagine is chaos since the pandemic started, the constant phone calls and video calls from families, along with trying to complete their own jobs that they were doing before the whole pandemic started.

I may not have a loved one living at this community right now, but I will certainly recommend them to any family that I work with that are trying to find just the right place for their loved one with dementia. They are a family with residents as well as amongst their staff. Hats off to the tremendous job they are doing!!!!

My dad receives excellent care at Summerfield of Roseville and I highly recommend this memory care facility to any family that is facing the struggles of having a loved one that needs memory care. Thank you for everything that you do.

My Mother has lived at Summerfield of Roseville since October 2018 and from day one we know this was the best place for mom. The facility Director Debra, Jane & Nadia are wonderful and they treat mom with such love and compassion. I know my mother is thriving at Summerfield of Roseville due to all the Interactive Activities that Tammy and the staff assist with. I want to thank the Med Techs and the care givers as well for their daily care and kindness they display to the resident’s. The food that is prepared is wonderful and I now mom gets proper nutrition. They all treat family with compassion and I can’t wait to visit once COVID has ended. I am please that mom has been safe from this terrible pandemic.

Wanted to THANK YOU for the wonderful care that you ALL give to my mother in law(Shirley) the warmth and caring environment that Deborah and the entire staff give to Shirley is nothing short of amazing!!! They absolutely make Shirley feel like she is a part of a family. From the main staff to the office staff to the care staff everyone makes her feel like she matters. In my opinion this level of care and compassion that is displayed everyday is just something that is a “RARE FIND” in this industry. Thank You for all that you do and for all that you don’t have to do but do anyway.

My mother was a resident of the facility for almost 2 years.It was extremely difficult making the decision to move my mother there. Having never had to experience a situation like this,We could not have been more Pleased with the care And compassion of the staff. We lost mom yesterday and as difficult as that is, we are very grateful for the wonderful care she received by the loving workers that took care of her. Thank you staff.

My mother has been a resident at Summerfield of Roseville for the last 9 months. She is well cared for by a loving staff in a family type atmosphere. Every time I visit I know she is in a safe place and is as happy as she can be. The facility is clean, the staff is knowledgeable and caring. There are many types of activities and all residents are encouraged to be active and engaged during the day.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Summerfield of Roseville. From the the front office to the resident care, medical and maintenance staff, I can’t say enough. My husband and I could no longer no longer provide the physical care needed for my mom’s advancing dementia. She needed more social stimulation as well. I knew after my initial visit, this is where I wanted my mom cared for. Now with every visit I know I made the right decision.

My husband attends the day break program five days a week. He has been diagnosed with degenerative dementia. I find the day program gives him social skills that he would not receive at home with me all day. He shows signs of improvement and I’m grateful for this great program.

I can not thank THE STAFF at my grandma’s new “apartment” in the memory care unit for Alzheimer’s. I feel at home visiting when I can, per their protocols. Covid has put a damper on the staff and residents. I can see they’re giving it everything they’ve got so we can visit. I love this place. They truly love your loved one like they’re their own family.
We left behind a place I won’t mention, to drive 40 extra minutes to visit with her where we KNOW she’s taken care of and we are informed of her well being. Her medical power of attorney is always filled in when needed.
THE BEST PLACE IS THIS PLACE for your loved one when you can no longer do it your self.

I searched many places and from my first contact everything about this place, the people and the facility, felt amazing. I felt a lot of fear about placing my mom anywhere. The staff created an awesome atmosphere where I was supported and both my mom and I felt safe and secure in the transition of her care. Over the time she has lived here, she has become much more peaceful and happy. I am so grateful to all the staff for their love and care for all the patients. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking to place their loved ones in a qualified location.

My wife was diagnosed with Dementia 7 years ago, while we were residing in Houston Texas. My oldest daughter convinced me to move to California so she could provide care for us. As her Dementia progressed, we decided she needed full time care. After we looked at several places, we were referred to Somerford Place. After a tour and speaking with the staff it was a no-brainer decision. Summerfield was excellent. My wife has been a resident for a month and I can rest easy knowing that she is in loving hands. A great relief!

My mother-in-law was not in there care for very long, but without a doubt she received the up most care. During her final days there was never a time that she was not being attended to.
The facility was always clean and odorless. The staff was as attentive to our concerns as they were to my mother-in-law. My wife and I are a very pleased that she spent her last days with such caring people.
